My top 10 makeup buys of 2010

I'm not a crazy makeup fan, never will be a makeup artist, or even attempt to make a youtube video. I do however, spend thousands on makeup and other beauty stuff. I love it, and no I don't have the patience or time to wear makeup every day so the majority of it sits in my closet.

What I love most are products that just work well! I love these products and cannot live without them!

So, here is my top 10 buys of 2010:

1. Cruella by NARS (velvet matte lip pencil) - it's an amazing shade of red, just add a little red lip gloss (be forewarned - it does smudge!) 
2. Zoom Fast Black Lash by M.A.C. (mascara) -  I layer it on before any night out - my only concern is that it's very difficult to take off
3. Leopard Love Complexion by Too Faced (blush, brightener and bronzer) - works so perfectly for day & night! 
4. DiorSkin Nude by Dior (liquid foundation & loose powder) - matches my skin perfectly, applies flawlessly, no cakiness and I can just wear the powder alone for light coverage
5. Sunbaked No. 2 by Sephora (trio eyeshadow) - the closest thing I have to the NAKED pallet - the colours work SO well together 
6. 24K by Smashbox - (eyeshadow) - the perfect gold eyeshadow 
7. Sunswept - Blush & Brighten by Laura Geller (Blush) - this is such an amazing duo blush, I layer it on for the evening look, and it works great in the summer AND winter
8. Retractable eyeliner by Sephora (black eyeliner) - this product just works, I need it for a top liner and I fail with liquid, this gives me a thin or thick top layer liner - perfection each time 
9. Tarte Treasure Chest/ Jewelry Box- (fine I lie, I bought this December 09 but thoroughly used it in 2010) - this box is AMAZING, the eyeshadows I have used excessively, the pigment is great, the lip colours are long lasting, and no complaints from the cheek wear - ps. it's a steal of a deal 
10. Stay don't Stay by Benefit (eye primer) -  this product works well and that's all that matters, I prefer it over the paints from M.A.C.

What am I looking forward to most in 2011? The damn NAKED pallet by Urban Decay... waiting patiently.
